In contemporary educational paradigms, museums are seen as complementary educational spaces that support learning processes at school and provide students with rich learning. Geography, having an interactive structure with human and spaces and reciprocally along with museums containing products of those interactions simplifies the use of them in education. On the other hand, museums have been the subject of a limited number of studies in geography education. In this context, new studies on how to use museums in geography lessons are important because they will be examples for teachers and an opportunity to apply them directly. In this sense, it is aimed to develop an application proposal regarding the use of museums in geography education. In the design process, an achievement in the geography curriculum was determined by taking the opinions of geography teachers and field experts first. Next ,a "worksheet", which includes the preliminary preparations to be made before the museum education, "implementation instructions" that include the activities that can be done during the museum education, and an "assessment-evaluating activities" that aim to measure the testing situations after the museum education were designed for this achievement. In order to ensure the construct and face validity of the designed application proposal, two geography education experts and a language expert were consulted. For future researches, more enriched applications within the framework of the design can be suggested, bearing the various educational attainments in the geography curriculum in mind. In addition, the relationships between students' interests and attitudes towards the geography lesson can be examined by using the application sample designed in experimental studies on the use of museums in geography education.
