Summary
Entrepreneurs contribute to the development of countries and are in a leading position in society. It can be said that the process of economic development and social transformation will gain speed as a result of educating individuals who solve problems by producing creative ideas, who are self-confident, open to innovations and aware that every profession is valuable. In this sense, individuals should be equipped with knowledge and skills related to entrepreneurship from an early age. The aim of this study is to determine the entrepreneurship levels of secondary school students. The research was carried out in the survey model. 1050 5th grade students from 8 state secondary schools participated in the study. Data were collected with scale and personal information form. Entrepreneurship levels of the students were analyzed according to gender, socioeconomic level, number of siblings, education level of mother and father. Statistical Package for Social Sciences 23.0 (SPSS) was used in the analysis of the data of the study. As a result of the research, it was determined that the entrepreneurship levels of the students were high. Within the scope of the research, no significant difference was found between the level of entrepreneurship and gender. A significant difference was found between the entrepreneurship level of the students and the socioeconomic level, the number of siblings, the education level of the mother and the education level of the father. At the end of the research, activities aimed at improving the entrepreneurship skills of the students should be organized in the courses in the secondary school programs, practical studies should be conducted, issues such as teacher role or family factor should be handled in the way of gaining entrepreneurship skills and suggestions for application and research were presented

Abstract
Dünyada ekonomik kalkınma ve toplumsal dönüşümü sağlama konusunda girişimcilik becerilerine sahip kişiler önemli bir yere sahiptir. Girişimciler, ülkelerin gelişmesine katkıda bulunan ve topluma öncülük eden bir konumdadır. Sorunları yaratıcı fikirler üreterek çözen, özgüven sahibi, yeniliklere açık, her mesleğin değerli olduğu bilincine sahip bireylerin yetiştirilmesi sonucunda ekonomik kalkınma ve toplumsal dönüşüm sürecinin hız kazanacağı söylenebilir. Bu anlamda bireylerin küçük yaşlardan itibaren girişimcilikle ilgili bilgi ve becerilerle donatılması gerekmektedir. Bu araştırmanın amacı ortaokul öğrencilerinin girişimcilik düzeylerini belirlemektir. Araştırma tarama modelinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmaya 2017-2018 öğretim yılı bahar döneminde 8 devlet ortaokulunda öğrenim gören 5. sınıf düzeyindeki 1050 öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri, ölçek ve kişisel bilgi formu ile toplanmıştır. Öğrencilerin girişimcilik düzeyleri cinsiyet, sosyoekonomik düzey, kardeş sayısı, annenin eğitim durumu ve babanın eğitim durumu değişkenlerine göre incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın verilerinin analizinde Statistical Package for the Social Sciences 23.0 (SPSS) paket programından yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin girişimcilik düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında öğrencilerin girişimcilik düzeyleri ile cinsiyet değişkeni arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmamıştır. Öğrencilerin girişimcilik düzeyleri ile sosyoekonomik düzey, kardeş sayısı, annenin eğitim durumu ve babanın eğitim durumu değişkenleri arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur. Araştırma sonunda, ortaokul programlarında yer alan derslerde öğrencilerin girişimcilik becerilerini geliştirmeye yönelik etkinlikler düzenlenmeli, uygulamalı çalışmalar yapılmalı, girişimcilik becerisi kazandırılmasında öğretmen rolü ya da aile etmeni gibi konular ele alınmalı biçiminde uygulamaya ve araştırmaya yönelik öneriler sunulmuştur.
