Summary
Görsel kültür ve görsel kaynaklar görsel sosyolojinin konuları arasındadır. Sinema filmleri, belgeseller, fotoğraflar gibi görsel materyaller giderek artan biçimde üniversite derslerinde kullanılmaktadır. Akademisyenlerin derslerinde görsel materyal kullanım tercihleri üzerinde durulması gereken önemli bir konudur. Bu çalışma için toplumsal cinsiyet konusundaki dersler ya da ders içerisinde eğitmenin toplumsal cinsiyet konusunu işlediği dersler analiz alanı olarak seçilmiştir. Çalışmada akademisyenlerin görsel materyal kullanma tercihleri ve şekilleri incelenmiştir. Bu amaçla görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Çalışmada literatür taramasının ardından görüşme sonuçları analiz edilecektir.

Abstract
Visual culture and visual sources are among the subjects of visual sociology. Visual materials such as cinema films, documentaries, photographs are used increasingly in university courses. Academicians’ choices of visual material using in their courses is an important point to be considered. For this study, courses on gender issues and courses in which the lecturer treats gender issues are selected as an analysis field. In the study, visual material using reasons and styles of academicians in their courses are examined. With this aim, interviews were done with academicians. In the study, after the literature review, results of interviews will be analyzed.
