Summary
Early childhood, which includes ages 0-8, is a very important period in terms of developing and developing skills and abilities in the early years. This study was carried out with 26 children attending the preschool for the purpose of examining the pictures of the children of five years old. Firstly, the classroom teacher, who is preschool teacher, was informed about the research and stated that they should not intervene in the pictures of the children. In the research, It was asked to draw paintings with pastel colors from children and the drawings were collected and evaluated by the researcher. At the end of the study, it was found that the children used the most yellow color (N = 17, 16,34%) and the least gray color (N=1, 0,96 %).
When the characteristics of children's pictures are examined, the children's paintings are mostly found in hierarchy, transparency, completion, use of vivid colors, and the presence of vertical and horizontal painting lines.It is also determined that they use the most human figures in their paintings.

Abstract
Okul öncesi dönem çocukların gelecek yaşantılarını şekillendirme ve erken müdahale açısından insan hayatındaki önemli yılları kapsamaktadır. Okul öncesi dönem çocuklarının resimleri aracılığıyla iç dünyaları ve çevreleriyle ilgili düşüncelerini yansıtabilir, büyüme süreci hakkında fikir sunabilir. Bu çalışma beş yaş çocuklarının resimlerinin gelişimsel bağlamda incelenmesi amacıyla uygulama anaokuluna devam eden 26 çocuk ile yapılmıştır. Öncelikle sınıf öğretmeni araştırma hakkında bilgilendirilmiş ve çocukların resimlerine müdahalede bulunmamaları gerektiği belirtilmiştir. Araştırmada çocuklardan pastel boyalarla resim çizmeleri istenmiş ve çizilen resimler toplanarak araştırmacı tarafından değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonunda çocukların en çok sarı rengi kullandıkları (n=17, %16,34), en az ise gri rengi kullandıkları tespit edilmiştir (n=1, %0,96). Çocuk resimlerinin özellikleri incelendiğinde ise çocukların resimlerinde en çok hiyerarşi, saydamlık, tamamlama, canlı renklerin kullanımı, dikey ve yatay boyama çizgilerinin varlığı tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca resimlerinde en çok insan figürleri kullandıkları belirlenmiştir.
