The coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic, which has affected the whole world, has negatively affected the field of education as well as human health. So much so that, according to UNESCO (2020) data, it is known that 1.5 billion students and 63 million teachers were affected by the epidemic. In this case, different solutions have been developed within the scope of measures against the epidemic. The solution used in the field of education is to integrate the distance education system into our lives, which provides great convenience in many areas. The distance education system, which entered our lives with the Covid-19 epidemic, became a method that we had to resort to once again in the field of education and training with the earthquake that occurred in 11 provincial centers on February 6, 2023, the effects of which we felt deeply throughout the country. The research was conducted with all 4th grade students of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, Faculty of Education, Department of Art Education, who completed the 2023-2024 academic year. The research group consists of 19 visual arts students who received distance education for a total of 3 semesters, 2 times in the spring semester and 1 time in the fall semester, during their 4-year undergraduate education (8 semesters in total), and graduated with only 5 semesters (2.5 years) of face-to-face education. It consists of teacher candidates. The research aims to evaluate the opinions of students regarding the conduct of practice courses during the distance education process. Although there are many studies on the distance education process, the fact that there is no research revealing the problems encountered in the field of visual arts education regarding the conduct of applied courses with very high class hours and ECTS increases the importance of this study. The interview method, which is among the qualitative research techniques, was used in the research. The data obtained from the interview forms consisting of 5 questions distributed to the students were evaluated according to the descriptive analysis method. According to the research, students are not able to create the school workshop environment at home, they cannot get quick feedback on their work, they cannot capture the motivation of being together with their friends in the workshop environment at home, they cannot socialize sufficiently, they experience depression due to this, they have difficulty in working individually, as well as the fact that they cannot spare more time for themselves, they cannot use technology, Results such as increased literacy rates have been achieved.
