As a literary genre, there is a subject (hero)-centered narrative in both biography and novel. While biography describes the subject's life action with a dry reality, the authority of fiction is dominant in the novel. The author of a biographical novel, on the other hand, tries to evaluate the person he highlights on a real basis, with the shine of fiction. This situation creates some problems in the biographical novel, a genre that began to develop in the second half of the 19th century. The fact that the life of a real-life hero is handled with the fictitious structure of the novel causes many problems such as the blurring of the line between reality and imagination and the acceptance of what is given by the reader. Yunus Emre is a name that has attracted the attention of many people for centuries with his thoughts, poems and unique style that he brought to Sufism. This situation also attracted the attention of some writers. They wrote about Yunus Emre's life and art by taking advantage of the opportunities provided by literature. In this regard, authors have preferred the biographical novel genre, taking advantage of the characteristics of both biography and novel. Considered in this context; It will be discussed how the life of a real person is evaluated in Emine Işınsu's novels titled Bir Ben Vardır Bende Benden İçeri, İskender Pala's Od, Mehmet Önal's Hak Çalabım and Sinan Yağmur's Aşkın Gözyaşları Yunus Emre. The works, written in close periods and presenting four different 'Yunus Emre' characters, will be examined in terms of reality-fictionality and the genres and techniques used.
