In this research, it is aimed to descriptively examine the master’s and doctoral theses in the field of music at fine arts high schools, whose branch of science is music education, indexed in the National Theses Center, with various variables. For this purpose, 221 postgraduate theses related to the field covered by the research between 1993 and 2023 were examined. The data were collected by literature review and presented and interpreted with frequency/percentage tables. Except for the National Thesis Center, studies related to the field of music at fine arts high schools were excluded from the research. Of the postgraduate studies in the research, 204 are master's theses and 17 are doctoral theses. During the examined process, it was determined that postgraduate studies were conducted in the field of music in fine arts high schools in a total of 36 universities in 1994, and that there was no research in 1994, 2011 and 2012. It was concluded that the least number of studies were written in the institutions of Süleyman Demirel University, Kocaeli University, Akdeniz University, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Kırıkkale University, Balıkesir University, Ankara Music and Fine Arts University. It was concluded that 51.47% of the master's theses in the field of music at the fine arts high schools examined in the research were prepared by female researchers and 48.52% by male researchers. It was determined that 52.94% of the doctoral theses were written by male researchers and 47.05% were written by female researchers. When the theses were examined by years and types in the research, it was concluded that the most master's theses were written in 2019 and the least in 1995 and 2013. It was concluded that the most doctoral theses in the field of music at fine arts high schools were written in 2022 and the least in 2003, 2007, 2009, 2015 and 2018. Most of the master's theses examined in the research used quantitative research methods; It has been determined that mixed research is generally done in doctoral theses.
