Abstract
FROM FIVE YEAR DEVELOPMENT PLANS TO TOURISM STRATEGY OF TURKEY 2023:CONTENT ANALYSIS OF TOURISM PUBLICITY ACTIVITIES
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the publicity, number of tourist and tourism revenue context of the Five Year Development Plans and Tourism Strategy of Turkey 2023 action plan 2007-2013. For this purpose, the 9 Five-Year Development Plans and Tourism Strategy 2023 Action Plan are evaluated separately and scan predetermined phrases. Types of tourism, the number of tourists and tourism revenue on targets in plans are identified and data were tabulated. For the same periods, the actual data on the number of tourists and tourism revenue are transferred to the table for comparison. All Five Year Development Plans are evaluated with the previous one; it is observed that the increases in the publicity activities and the publicity budget in parallel with the increases in the number of tourists and tourism revenues.
