Abstract
INVESTIGATION OF BURNOUT LEVEL OF ACADEMIC STAFF ACCORDING TO VARIOUS VARIABLES
One of the most important psychological condition of modern man is burnout. Burnout is seen especially on occupational groups with heavy workload and serving to people face to face.This study was done to reveal the status of burnout in a variety of variables on academic staff. Study was done on a total of 173 academic staff working in the Faculty of Education, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and Faculty of Engineering, serving at Dicle University. In the study gender faculty, academic title, professional year, age and social media are used as independent variables. According to the results of the analysis, it is determined that generally burnout of academic staff is low. It is determined that gender and school variables have not changed in statistically significant differences to the levels of burnout of academic staff. It is determined that academic title, professional year, age and using of social media have changed in statistically significant differences to the levels of burnout of academic staff.
