PROBLEMS OF THE TEACHERS WORKING IN RURAL AREAS (AĞRI PROVINCE AS EXAMPLE)
To make the education process in a good way, and gain the organized and appropriate results of it; education needs to be local, equally distributed and have the same quality all around the country. Modern-day education policy could not be avoided the centrist and bureaucratic structure, for this reason equal and qualitative education service could not be presented to the rural areas which are the capillary vessels of the country. Primary school teachers form the biggest part of the groups of the teachers numerically. However, the primary school teachers who work all around the country have very important problems. These problems have been increasing in rural areas. The aim of this study is to present the problems of the primary school teachers which they experience in countryside, again in the direction of the opinions of the primary school teachers who work in countryside. This study has been conducted in 2012-2013 school years in Agri. 25 primary school teachers who work in countryside have participated in this study. Opinions of teachers have been written down by the researchers. In the data analysis, content analysis technique has been used. In the analysis of content, it has been detected that the themes have been collected under the titles of the personal rights, environment and physical conditions. This study has been concluded that the primary school teachers have a great variety of problems, but some of them are experienced more frequently. These are the problems which are told frequently: mother tongue, accommodation, heating, students’ and parents’ the lack of interest in education.
