Visual arts education is not just a skill-building course. It plays an important role in developing creativity. Creativity is a concept used not only in the field of art but also in all fields. However, although creativity is in every field, it is mainly developed through visual art lessons. In this study; Creative application examples specific to the field of visual arts are included. It is aimed to raise awareness about creativity with different applications in students who receive visual arts education. The study group consists of 10 students from Giresun University Art Teaching Department, 2nd year students. Research is an action research that aims to raise awareness about creativity. It is a 2-week comparative application carried out with the study group. The research was carried out with a single group. As a subject, the concepts of "Rag Doll, Scarecrow and Puppet" were discussed. Although rag dolls, scarecrows and puppets have different initial purposes or origins, they are also the subject of artistic products over time or are directly handled as art products. They are handmade products with different features as well as similar to each other. The research was carried out with the thought that these similar and different aspects will be effective in revealing creativity. The research data consists of student assignments with drawing and comparison expressions of the "Rag Doll, Scarecrow and Puppet Form" created before and after the information about creativity. The data were analyzed as content and descriptive. In the research, the first and last drawings of the pre-service teachers receiving visual arts education and the expressions of these drawings constitute the findings. As a result of the research, it was revealed that the subject of "Rag Dolls, Scarecrows and Puppets" provided awareness about their creativity in the application.
