Summary
Bu çalışmada, sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının düşünme becerilerine yönelik etkinlikler geliştirmeleri sağlanarak; geliştirilen bu etkinliklerin mesleki yeterlilikler bağlamında etkisinin araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden eylem araştırması olarak planlanmıştır. Eylem araştırma grubunda; 16 kız ve 15 erkek olmak üzere toplam 31 aday bulunmaktadır. Çalışma bütün sınıfa uygulanmıştır. Final görüşmesi olarak yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler, uygulama bittikten sonra gruplardan seçilen gönüllü 12 aday ile gerçekleşmiştir. Araştırmada mesleki gelişim bağlamında; beceri, değer ve mesleki yeterlilik boyutları; ders planlama ve öğretim süreci bağlamında; ders planlama, öğretim süreci, materyal kullanımı, etkinlik üretimine katkı boyutları; uygulama süreci sonunda; uygulama sürecini değerlendirme ve kişisel gelişimini değerlendirme boyutlarına ilişkin bulgular yer almıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; beceri boyutundan; yaratıcı düşünme, eleştirel düşünme, farklı bakış açılarıyla düşünme, özgün düşünme, yansıtıcı düşünme, üst düzey düşünme, problem çözme, bilimsel düşünme, analitik düşünme, özenli düşünme, empatik düşünme, objektif düşünme, estetik düşünme, geniş perspektifle düşünme, işbirlikçi düşünme ve sorgulama becerilerini geliştirdiği, değer boyutundan; adalet, empati, vatanseverlik, kanaatkarlık, saygı, güven, özgüven, dayanışma, çalışkanlık, sorumluluk gibi değerleri geliştirdiği tespit edilmiştir. Genel olarak ortaya çıkan sonuçlar değerlendirildiğinde, adayların mesleki yeterliliklerini ders planlama, uygulama, etkinlik geliştirme, materyal kullanımı ve pedagojik açıdan geliştirdiği tespit edilmiştir. Öğretmen adaylarının mesleki gereksinim ve yeterliliklerinin sağlanabilmesi bağlamında öğretmen yetiştiren eğitim kurum programlarının, Etkinlik Temelli Öğretimin başarılı bir şekilde uygulanabilmesi için müfredatını güncelleyerek gerekli teorik ve pratik bilgilere yer verilmesi gerektiği öneriler arasında yer almıştır.

Abstract
In this study, by providing social studies pre service teacher to develop activities for their thinking skills; It is aimed to search the effects of these activities in the context of professional competencies. The research is planned as action research, which is one of the qualitative research methods. In the action research group; There are 31 pre services, 16 girls and 15 boys. The study was applied to the whole class. Semi-structured interviews as final meeting took place with 12 volunteer pre services selected from the groups after the application was completed. There were findings regarding the context of professional development in research; skill, value and professional competence dimensions; the context of lesson planning and teaching process; lesson planning, teaching process, material use, contribution dimensions to activity production; at the end of the implementation process; the dimensions of evaluating the implementation process and evaluating personal development. As a result of the research it was determined that; from skill dimension; creative thinking, critical thinking, thinking from different perspectives, original thinking, reflective thinking, high-level thinking, problem solving, scientific thinking, analytical thinking, thoughtful thinking, empathetic thinking, objective thinking, aesthetic thinking develop broad perspective, collaborative thinking and questioning skills; from the dimension of value; It was determined that it develops values such as justice, empathy, patriotism, contentiousness, respect, trust, self-confidence, solidarity, diligence and responsibility. When the general results are evaluated, it was determined that the pre services improved their professional competencies in terms of lesson planning, implementation, activity development, material use and pedagogical aspects. In order to ensure the professional needs and competencies of pre service teachers, educational institution programs that train teachers are among the suggestions that they should update their curriculum by adding the necessary theoretical and practical information in it to implement Activity Based Teaching successfully.
