Summary
Businesses or organizations are constantly faced with the obligation to make decisions during their activities. In the decision-making problems encountered, decision alternatives are evaluated according to the criteria set for purposes, and it is aimed to choose the alternative that gives the best results according to all criteria. In these decision-making problems, heuristic methods are used, and data-based scientific methods are widely preferred in order to achieve more objective and accurate results. Multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) methods are expressed as the evaluation of alternatives according to multiple decision criteria in decision making problems and the methods used to determine the appropriate alternative that best meets all criteria. In the literature, there are a large number of MCDM methods applied for this purpose. DANP (Dematel Based Analytic Network Process) and MAIRCA (Multi Attributive Ideal-Real Comparative Analysis) are two of these MCDM methods. In this study, 30 metropolitan cities in Turkey were ranked according to the livability criteria by DANP and MAIRCA methods. The weights of the criteria determined by the DANP method were calculated, and metropolitan cities were ranked according to their livability level by the MAIRCA method.

Abstract
İşletmeler veya organizasyonlar faaliyetleri süresince sürekli olarak karar alma zorunluluğu ile karşı karşıya kalmaktadır. Karşılaşılan karar problemlerinde karar alternatifleri amaçlar doğrultusunda belirlenen kriterlere göre değerlendirmekte ve tüm kriterlere göre en iyi sonucu veren alternatifin seçilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Söz konusu karar problemlerinde sezgisel yöntemler kullanıldığı gibi, daha objektif ve doğru sonuçların elde edilmesi amacıyla verilere dayalı bilimsel yöntemler de yaygın bir şekilde tercih edilmektedir. Çok kriterli karar verme (ÇKKV) yöntemleri karar problemlerinde alternatiflerin çok sayıda karar kriterlerine göre değerlendirilmesi ve tüm kriterleri en iyi şekilde karşılayan uygun alternatifin belirlenmesi amacıyla kullanılan yöntemler olarak ifade edilmektedir. Literatürde bu amaçla uygulanan çok sayıda ÇKKV yöntemi mevcuttur. DANP (Dematel Based Analytic Network Process) ve MAIRCA (Multi Atributive Ideal-Real Comparative Analysis) yöntemleri söz konusu ÇKKV yöntemlerinden ikisidir. Bu çalışmada DANP ve MAIRCA yöntemleri ile Türkiye’de bulunan otuz büyükşehrin yaşanabilirlik kriterlerine göre sıralaması yapılmıştır. DANP yöntemi ile belirlenen kriterlerin ağırlıkları hesaplanmış ve MAIRCA yöntemi ile büyükşehirler yaşanabilirlik düzeyine göre sıralanmıştır.
